The digging continues! I’ve uncovered a number of collaborations or one-off recordings that I still rather enjoy. The dance score “An Empty Room” was composed 2009 in collaboration with Emma Fishwick.
Audio is comprised of no-input mixer, granulated drum sounds, max/msp synthesis and noisy radio. The complete work was featured in the 2009 PICA season Zilch, in Dance Compass Showcase 2009 and again in the 2010 Short and Sweet Dance season in Sydney.

LINK Dance work with NZ choreographer Craig Bary. LINK Dance Company is the honours year dance program at WAAPA, taught by Michael Whaites. The program works internationally and nationally, with workshops, tours and performances throughout the year.

Caused to Happen is a dance work by Craig Bary that explores the relationships between people and the effects of actions on other peoples lives. This work premiered at the Dolphin Theater with three performances on the 25th and 26th of September 2009. The work is now touring the east coast of Australia with shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

The score for this work features 25 minutes of original music, comprised of electronic rhythm machines, processed acoustic instruments and post-rock layered guitars. It was composed in collaboration with the dance from the beginning of the work and took seven weeks to write, record and rehearse.
